You’ll just have to forgive the cliché, because it really is true: the Pipe and Glass is like a swan. You see – or at least we hope you see – a calm and serene operation, where your every need is catered for and nothing is too much trouble.
But to keep that elegant swan afloat, there’s a huge amount of unseen paddling going on, from first thing in the morning until the very last thing at night – and all paddled by a team of usually unsung heroes.

The first chefs arrive. Early morning deliveries are made and all the produce is checked.
8:00am
Helena and Emily arrive in the office and start responding to enquiries and making reservations.

Breakfast is served to our overnight guests.

The chefs are busy in the kitchen prepping for lunch.

James talks the team through the day’s specials board.
