Introducing InnSpire, an exciting new pale ale by the Pipe and Glass, created in collaboration with the award-winning Hunmanby based brewery, Wold Top.
Having been at the helm of the Pipe and Glass for 15 years, James and Kate Mackenzie are no strangers to fine ingredients and worked closely with the team at Wold Top to create an intriguing IPA with notes of citrus and floral aromas, that give way to a gentle bitterness.
James said “Throughout my menus at the Pipe and Glass, there is a real focus on provenance of our produce and we’ve approached the development of this beer with the same philosophy.
“Having served Wold Top at the Pipe and Glass over the past 15 years, we knew the quality of their beers and their team immediately understood what we were hoping to create - a proper Yorkshire beer. And I’m thrilled to be able to say that InnSpire is brewed using malts grown on the Yorkshire Wolds that surround us.
“We’ve created this beer with our customers in mind; It’s the perfect refreshing pint to enjoy sat at our picnic benches on a sunny day, but it also works fantastically alongside a Michelin-starred meal in the restaurant. We can’t wait to for our customers to try it!”
Kate Balchin, Director at Wold Top said “We're really excited and honoured to have worked with James, Kate and the team at the Pipe and Glass to create their new bespoke house beer. We love working with people who are as passionate about our local area as we are and hope that the beer will be enjoyed by all who come to visit and sample James' fabulous menu”.
InnSpire is the most recent addition to the range of delicious drinks from the Pipe and Glass including Pipe and Glass gin, developed with the Hooting Owl distillery and Pipe and Glass classic wine from Mas de Daumas Gassac one of France’s great wine estates.
Taking inspiration for its name from the magnificent landmark of the 200ft spire of St Marys church in South Dalton, InnSpire is available on hand pull exclusively at the Pipe and Glass, or bottled to enjoy at home.
