The awards focus on celebrating businesses in the hospitality and travel industries that create an unforgettable experience for their guests.
Food and Travel Magazine is a favourite of culinary enthusiasts, highlighting the ultimate gourmet destinations across the globe, so to be recognised by their readers is a great achievement.
Fellow nominees in the Gourmet Bolthole category include some strong competition such as Tom Kerridge’s Hand and Flowers and Restaurant Sat Bains. The Pipe and Glass is one of three Michelin-starred Yorkshire establishments featured in the seven-strong shortlist for the award, highlighting the level of quality that diners in the region have come to enjoy.
James Mackenzie, Chef/ Proprietor at the Pipe and Glass said “Our aim has always been to provide great food with great Yorkshire hospitality and so to be nationally recognised by the readers of Food and Travel Magazine as a Gourmet Bolthole is really special for us, tucked away in East Yorkshire.
“It would be incredible to go a step further and win, but to be included in such notable company is an achievement in itself”.
If you have enjoyed your experience at the Pipe and Glass and would like to cast your vote please head over to the Food and Travel Magazine website for more information.
The winners will be announced in a ceremony in September.
